The Pride Pledge is a values-based commitment that organisations can take to demonstrate dedication to the safety, visibility and inclusion of the rainbow members of our community.

Pride Pledge work with subscribing organisations to improve their commitment to Rainbow diversity and inclusion practices. Pride Pledge represent many businesses across a range of industries including hospitality, finance, insurance, tourism & more.

Creating a workplace where people feel accepted and are free to be their authentic selves is acknowledged to be a central factor in attracting and retaining the best talent – and generally being a great place to work. As people are our biggest asset, Meridian has entered into the Gold Level Pride Pledge commitment to ensure we have the right guidance, support and resources to ensure our Rainbow community – and all our people, can continue to bring their whole selves to work every day.

Gender Affirmation Policy Register

Meridian is proud to be one of the first organisations to commit to the Gender Affirmation Policy Register. It's an initiative by the Pride Pledge community to be more transparent about what gender affirming policies organisations have and where they can be found. Policies include gender affirming leave, inclusive bathrooms, uniforms and grooming standards, use of pronouns and support for gender diverse people to thrive in their organisations.
