It’s no secret that we’re passionate about electric vehicles, so we’re building one of the country’s largest EV charging networks! We’ve rolled out over 200 EV charge points across Aotearoa already with more in the pipeline.

Your nearest Meridian generation asset is Te Uku Wind Farm. Located just outside of Raglan in the mighty Waikato, Te Uku is home to 28 wind turbines. Since first power, these turbines have more than 2,145,625,352 kilowatt hours of energy each year – that's enough energy to send a Tesla Roadster around the world 396,594 times! And there’s more than just power generation going on. We recognise how important the local community is to our operation by working closely with the local schools and supporting awesome local projects through our Te Uku Power Up Community Fund.

When it comes to working with communities, we don’t stop at our generation assets. We consider ourselves lucky to partner and work with organisations who share our values and are making a difference all over New Zealand.
Kākāpō Recovery Programme
Kākāpō are a taonga species. Sadly, with just over 200 left, theses nocturnal, flightless parrots sit firmly on the endangered species list.
We work with the Department of Conservation (DOC) and Ngāi Tahu to help fund research and initiatives. The Kākāpō Recovery Programme aims to take the kākāpō off the endangered list and bring them back to their former glory.

We believe that every child deserves a decent start at life. Currently, one in five kids in New Zealand live in hardship. KidsCan offer practical, hands-on assistance to thousands of children in schools up and down the country.
