1. The competition is open to anyone that meets the eligibility criteria set out below and comments on Meridian's Facebook “World Wind Day” social post from Thursday 15 June to midnight Sunday 18 June 2023.

3. If any part of the prize is unavailable, Meridian may reserve the right to substitute the prize (or that part of prize) with a prize which Meridian considers to be of equal value and/or specification.
Eligibility:
4. You must tag a friend and tell us the closest Meridian wind farm to your location.
5. You can submit as many comments as you like to be eligible. Each comment is one entry into the prize draw.
6. Each entry will need to be completed via social media on Meridian’s Facebook post. No other forms of entry will be considered.
7. By entering this competition, you agree to these terms and conditions.
8. The competition is open to any person who is (both at the time of entry and at the time the Entry they have submitted is judged) resident in New Zealand
The draw:
9. The winner will be randomly selected from all the comments received on Meridian’s Facebook post between Thursday 15 June to midnight Sunday 18 June 2023 and the winner will be notified on or before Tuesday 20 June 2023, at which time we will co-ordinate getting your prize to you.
10. Meridian will attempt to contact the winner through Facebook including via commenting on the social post, replying to the winning comment or private message. If contact is not made by the winner within 24 hours of Meridian’s first contact or private message to the winner, Meridian may deem the prize to have been forfeited and a redraw will take place.
11. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer and cannot be taken as cash. Unused portions of the prize cannot be refunded, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
12. Meridian and the judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. Meridian reserves the right to use the prize winner’s name and photographs/video footage for publicity purposes without payment or other compensation.
14. Employees of Meridian, their agents and immediate family members are not eligible to enter the prize draw.
15. Meridian, its employees and agents, will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
16. Meridian reserves the right to extend, cancel or amend the offer at any time without notice to you. Meridian may also vary this offer at any time by posting revised terms and conditions on our website.
